I’m like a million years late with this review because there are so many raves about this Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil already. However, I still wanted to put my two cents in. For someone who doesn’t really like using oils in skincare routine at all, I have sure been using a lot of them lately. There were those that I liked a lot, and some didn’t even make it to the blog. If you’re wondering where this rosehip oil stands, well… it’s pretty much on top of all the oils I’ve ever used. Yes, you read it right, a product with just one ingredient beats so many other skincare products.
Trilogy Rosehip Oil is a golden, thick oil, which leaves skin looking RADIANT (caps are necessary here, believe me). I mean it, not I-have-oil-on-my-face radiant, but dewy and fresh. I had no idea that oil could do that. It also promises to improve the appearance of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles. Though I haven’t noticed anything like that yet because I’m using it in the evening but switching for other serums from time to time. To see some improvement in my fine lines, I should be more consistent with it. Anyway, if you buy one thing this month or want to invest in one oil for your skin, choose this one, you will not regret it.
Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil is widely available in many online stores. To name a few: Trilogy, Lovelula, Feelunique, Bath & Unwind for $29 for 20ml (also available in 45ml).
Have you tried Trilogy Rosehip Oil? Is there rosehip oil from other brands that you like?
I love A’kin organic rosehip oil and although I don’t know if it’s any better/worse than others in terms of performance I adore it’s smell. I would try another brand if it smelled as good as the A’kin one. When I got to try the Trilogy one at Whole Foods I rejected it for that reason. That said I don’t know if the smell of rosehip oil appeals to most people, certainly doesn’t smell like roses. The A’kin one smells a bit like a combo of chocolate and the sea (weird-sounding I know but I absolutely love it).
I’d love to try this but I’d be worried that it would encourage my oily skin, however I love a good glow that isn’t a shiny disco ball look!
