Switching To Autumn – Skincare Update

Autumn Organic Skincare-2I have at least three different skincare routines throughout the year, depending on the season changes. One for cold weather (that’s winter), one for warm weather (summer), and one for in-between these seasons (spring and autumn). These routine changes help my skin stay intact.

I’ve been avoiding cream cleansers probably all my life, thinking: nope, these are not for me. However, I’ve been trying more than a few cream cleansers lately, and I have to admit that they have converted me. I still love a good cleanser that makes my skin refreshed and squeaky clean. I will get one of those again maybe when the weather is warmer, but for now, I’ll stick to something more gentle and moisturizing. Like, Sans Soucis Pomegranate Cleansing Milk (125 ml). Sans Soucis is a natural beauty brand from Germany. All of its range is certified by BDIH and contains no animal products. Pomegranate Cleansing Milk is a creamy cleansing milk, which, despite its rich consistency, cleans the skin and removes makeup perfectly well. One thing I like the most about this cleanser is that it doesn’t make my skin feel sticky or greasy, just clean. It contains no perfume, so it’s suitable for sensitive skin. Another addition to my skincare routine is Madara Multi-Action Micellar Water (100 ml) with hyaluronic acid, which I’m using as a toner. My third product is Melvita Apicosma UHT Soothing Cream (40 ml)*, which is a kick-ass product for dry skin.

Melvita Apicosma Organic Soothing CreamI have a lot of admiration for Melvita for many reasons. It’s an honest and pure brand, and its products work well. A few years ago, Melvita Rose Moisture Replenishing Night Nectar saved my skin when it went crazy dry (I can’t recommend it enough for dehydrated skin types). This Apicosma Soothing Cream is also formulated for dry skin types, but also suitable for sensitive skin. It’s a highly nourishing and calming day cream, which has a creamy consistency and comforting scent. It heals and repairs dry, itchy, and problematic skin.

Do you change your skincare routine when the seasons change?
