Simple Natural Eye Care Routine

Two Step Natural Eye CareI’ve never had my eye care routine shared on the blog simply because… I’ve never had one as such. Shamefully, I admit that eye products have never been a regular part of my daily skincare routine, which means that I would buy an eye cream with a lot of enthusiasm and promises to myself. Still, after a couple of consistent uses, it would just sit in my bathroom cabinet until its expiration date. However, this time, I managed to stay consistent (more or less) with these two eye products. So, here are a few thoughts about them:

We Love Eyes Tea Tree Eyelid and Eyelash Makeup Remover OilWe Love Eyes Eyelid and Eyelash Makeup Remover Oil (10ml) is a pure blend of just three ingredients that not only remove dirt and makeup but also care for a gentle eye area. It contains jojoba seed oil, grape seed oil, and tea tree leaf oil. The tea tree oil is what gives the remover oil a pleasant herbal scent. One great thing about this Makeup Remover Oil is its packaging. It comes in a glass bottle with a handy pipette, which makes the product perfect for not wasting it. Also, it’s great for traveling.

Usually, I remove my eye makeup with any cleanser I use at that moment. Except, not all of them remove mascara equally good, so that’s when this Makeup Remover Oil comes in to help. I place a few drops on a cotton swab, press the swab on eyelash area allowing makeup to dissolve, then gently cleanse it all away with a cotton pad. That way it does remove makeup well without irritating my eyes. The Oil is light but still leaves an oily residue, which I need to remove with a clean pad or rinse with a cleanser. If you’re into makeup remover oils, I’d say this one is nice. However, I won’t repurchase it because using an additional remover just for the eyes is too much work for me.

Wabi Sabi Botanicals Budhi Awaken Sacha Inchi Eye NectarI’ve already mentioned Wabi Sabi Botanicals Budhi Awaken Sacha Inchi Eye Nectar* in my organic skincare routine for spring. Almost eight months have passed since I started using it, and I’m down only to a third of the 10ml bottle. And believe me, I’ve been applying it pretty often (at least a few times a week). This is probably the only eye product that I use that religiously because I LOVE it to bits. It has the loveliest scent of coffee beans ever. Also, the results are pretty obvious after using this eye nectar. My under-eye area looks more hydrated and glowy and some fine lines got seriously reduced.

Do you use eye creams or oils? If yes, what are your favorites?

I use an eye cream on daily basis, but just as you did, only when I found a product that was worth the routine.
