Empties #2: John Masters Organics Skincare And Haircare Products

John Masters Organics Skincare and Haircare EmptiesI’ve been working my way through the beauty products, and it felt good to see that after my last empties update, there are not many half-empties left. I still had to set a goal to finish a few products that were not completely finished by then, but I used them up pretty quickly. Funny as it is, they all are John Masters Organics products!

From left to right:
John Masters Organics Rose & Aloe Hydrating Toning Mist (59ml)
It’s a nice refreshing face mist that can be used as a toner. Spray after cleansing the face or throughout the day to give the skin extra hydration. It has a delicate scent of fresh roses that quickly disappears after the mist is sprayed on the skin. John Masters Organics says that the mist minimizes the appearance of pores, soothes, and reduces skin inflammation. It feels refreshing, cooling and gives some hydration. The only thing that I thought was a little too much – its stickiness. I could feel it on my face for a while after spraying the mist, though, it wasn’t too uncomfortable.

See the ingredients:

Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice*, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Water*, Glycerin*, Leu Co Nostoc Ferment Filtrate, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract*, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract*, Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Extract*. * Certified Organic. Vegan.

John Masters Organics Lavender Hydrating Mist for Skin & Hair (59ml)
While John Masters Organics is known for its long natural ingredient lists, this product is, on the contrary, rather simple. The Mist contains only lavender flower water. It smells amazing and feels amazing on the skin. However, I am not sure if I’m going to repurchase it because, for the 59 ml bottle of a herbal distillate, it’s a bit pricey.

See the ingredients:

Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Water*, Linalool†. * Certified Organic. † A natural component of essential oils. Certified by USDA Organic. Vegan.

John Masters Organics Dry Hair Nourishment & Defrizzer (15ml)
The smallest bottle from the bunch with only 15 ml. This might certainly seem like a small amount, but, believe me, it lasted me ages. I can say only good words about this Defrizzer because it works. I only needed the tiniest drop (it even has a pipette to measure the liquid!), and it instantly gave moisture to my hair and helped to fight frizz. Just avoid adding too much because it will make your hair greasy quickly.

See the ingredients:

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil,* Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil,* Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil,* Linum Usitatissimum (Flaxseed) Oil,* Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil,* Cedrus Atlantica (Cedarwood) Bark Oil,* Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil*.* Certified Organic. Certified by USDA Organic. Vegan.
