Several days ago I promised to share my empties. As the seasons change, I opt for products that are lighter and more suited for warmer weather, so here are winter products that I’ve finished: Sante Cleansing Foam, Pangea Organics Italian Red Mandarin Day Cream, and Dr. Hauschka Quince Day Cream (which I forgot to include in the photo, sorry). You can read reviews here.
Other beauty empties include:
Physicians Formula OrganicWear Lash Boosting Mascara (Black)
There’s a lot of true behind a statement that price doesn’t say anything about how well a makeup product performs. Physicians Formula, known for its affordable and efficient mascaras, is a good example of such a statement. The Lash Boosting mascara, like other PF mascaras, has a curvy tube, which is pretty big. It also has a jumbo wand with short bristles. The mascara gives volume and definition, but not much length. I feel a bit awkward using this mascara because the wand seems too large for my eyes, and I keep staining my eyelids.
Despite all this trouble I keep having with the application, I find this mascara lovely for daily use. See below how the two-coat application looks on my lashes. As you can see, my lashes look dark and voluminous. The mascara doesn’t smudge during the day, but it won’t tolerate water or wet weather. I like how easy it can be removed. I remove it with only water, no makeup remover is needed.
Wedderspoon Organic Manuka Honey Lip Balm (4.5 g)
This lip balm will definitely be missed. However, Wedderspoon tweeted some good news about formulating a new lip balm, so let’s wait and see.
Sante Organic Goji & Olive Hand Cream (30 ml)
I’ve got this 30 ml hand cream as a gift from a friend for Christmas, and it took me about 3 months to empty the tube. This cream, formulated with shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil, might seem heavy, but in fact, it’s light and absorbs well into the skin, leaving hands soft and nicely scented.
Have a lovely weekend!
Sante hand cream sounds perfect for warmer months, will have to check it out 🙂 xx
It’s lovely for everyday use!
Sante seems like a great brand, really must try more from them! Great round-up 🙂 x
Thanks, Tania!
