Pure & Coco 5 in 1 Moisturizing Exfoliators Review

A couple of weeks ago, the weather went mad where I live, with temperatures dropping as low as -20C (-4F). And the colder it gets outside, the more intense heating gets inside, causing my skin to go mad as well. I can deal with my face alright, but the rest of my body suffers every winter and spring. I know that exfoliating and nourishing body products are a must during these seasons to keep the skin in good condition, but I still try to keep my body care products at a bare minimum. Which is why these Pure & Coco 5 in 1 Moisturizing Exfoliators* are such a great fit for my shower routine.

As lazy and inconsistent as I am with my body scrubs and lotions, I absolutely love using these babies. They contain only 5 ingredients: pure cane sugar, organic virgin coconut oil, distilled water, essential oil (depending on the exfoliator), and a mild preservative. The exfoliators are perfectly blended for a pleasant texture and have gentle, delightful scents. Being made with organic coconut oil, these scrubs do not dry the skin out but instead leave it nourished and in balance.

Because there are so few ingredients, even those with the most sensitive skin can enjoy these scrubs. But of course, please check the ingredient list before deciding to see if the particular essential oil agrees with your skin.

The Moisturizing Exfoliators primarily are gentle body scrubs and skin moisturizers, but the 5 in 1 in their title gives away that they can also be used as other products. How convenient, who does not like a multi-tasking product? Apparently, it can be used as a shaving oil (which I really liked, by the way), as a face wash, even for makeup and waterproof mascara (however, you have to really melt it; otherwise, it can feel too scrubby if you have reactive skin). At last, you can use it as a lip scrub, turning chapped lips smooth and lovely. Overall, I’m absolutely smitten with these exfoliators. My skin is not a forgiving one, nor it’s easy to care for, but they manage to make it happy. I’ve almost finished my first jar (it took almost 2 months since I use it sparingly), and the ylang-ylang and coconut scent is a pick-me-up scent that I love to start my day with. I can’t wait to start the Marjoram; I hear this scent is even better than the ylang one. I’m also excited to share about another Pure & Coco product, 6 in 1 Body Creme, which is also a gem!
