I took this kit with me when I went on holiday, so it wasn’t only a starter kit, but more like a travel kit. Many of us know that traveling can mess with our skin. It happens to me all the time, no matter if I travel by plane or by car, the final result is the same – dry, patchy, redness prone skin. This Revitalizing Kit promised to help restore the skin’s moisture and to enhance its radiance. Naturally, of course! All the products in this kit contain organic rose oil, which has enormous skin cell renewal benefits and organic pomegranate seed oil, which helps to protect skin by fighting free radicals.
Three travel-size products are included:
Revitalizing Rose Pomegranate Cream Cleanser (28 ml) has a soft rose scent, so if you’re keen on rose scents, you’ll be very happy! It’s a mild and creamy cleanser made with nourishing oils like sweet almond, jojoba, shea butter, and grape seed oil. It removed makeup well, and because it’s so nourishing, it also left my skin soft. However, as much as I like this cleanser, I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing it just because I’m more into foam cleansers like my new favorite Alterra Cleansing Foam. I just like that extra “squeaky clean” feeling that only foam or gel cleansers can give.
Revitalizing Rose Pomegranate Toner (28 ml) is a pore-minimizing toner made with skin restoring flower waters such as rose, bitter orange, and geranium and extracts such as sandalwood and camellia. I like its refreshing scent! Once sprayed on the skin, the toner dries out immediately, leaving skin feeling firm and tight. This is a balancing toner that most likely would suitable for all skin types, except dry.
Revitalizing Rose Pomegranate Nourishing Cream (8 ml) – despite containing nourishing sweet almond oil, shea butter, cacao butter, and olive oil, this is relatively light day cream, which smells of roses. I like how dewy and soft my skin feels without any greasiness that some nourishing creams leave.
Primavera Revitalizing Starter Kit is available at Pharmaca, Ecco Verde and other online organic stores for approximately $15/£10.
