While the liquid foundation has been my best friend for as long as I can remember, I couldn’t say the same about concealer, which is more like my recent discovery. It appears, that if you’re looking for ways to perfect your skin, finding a good concealer is as important as finding a good foundation. One of the organic cosmetics giants Logona has a range of concealer creams that includes 3 shades: 01 Pearl; 02 Light Beige and 03 Green (for redness corrections). Today’s review is about Logona Concealer Cream in 01 Pearl. According to Logona, it covers up blemishes, creates a flawless complexion and nourishes the skin at the same time. Now, who wouldn’t want that?
The first thing that I noticed about this concealer is that it’s really pale. If you have fair, neutral skin, like me, then you know it’s something you get excited about, because most concealers look either too dark or too yellow when applied on the skin.
The package is an ordinary clear tube with a sponge applicator. Because the concealer contains many moisturizing oils like jojoba oil, almond oil, and shea butter, its consistency is very soft and creamy – a real pleasure to apply. Also, I spot marigold (calendula) in the ingredient list, which is known for anti-inflammatory and healing benefits. The scent is a typical Logona sweet scent, which I relate to candies.
The concealer is easy to blend into the skin. It sits on the skin nicely and gives a matte finish. It doesn’t dry out the skin at all, but if there are dry patches, it will cling to them. I would place it in a light coverage category, which is good for someone who maybe wants to reduce some minor imperfections.
