Organic Skincare Empties | October

Organic Beauty Empties October 2021Since my last empties post, I’ve been putting an effort to finish these skincare items that have been sitting in my bathroom drawer forever, with only a few drops left. I don’t know why this happens that the almost empty bottles suddenly get pushed to the back, but I am guilty of doing that. Anyway, here’s what I managed to use up recently:

I received The Potion Fairy Fountain Antioxidant Hydration Serum with the other lovely skincare as a judge for Clean Beauty Awards. I honestly wanted to love it. Not only because its packaging is absolutely unique and beautiful, but also because it has wonderful reviews and contains great ingredients. I did not like it from the start, but I used it all up in hopes it could change my opinion later. But unfortunately, it didn’t. The main reason is its strange texture. I used it as directed on a wet face, but it just felt weird and not hydrating at all. I hope you have a better experience with it if you get to try.

Ooh! Natural Cucumber Soothing Face Oil is my second favorite face oil of all time! Despite having a plain scent, this oil did miracles to my dehydrated skin. It left the skin plump, hydrated, and soothed without feeling overboard greasy. It also takes ages to use it up because you need so little of it.

Earth Harbor Marina Biome Brightening Ampoule was the only empty that I haven’t finished up recently, but forgot to include in the last empties post. This oil serum reminds me of Herbivore Lapis Oil. Not only because of its similar light blue color and scent, but in how it benefits the skin. The lovely water to oil texture makes the skin feel comfortable and hydrated by adding some slight healthy glow.

REN Clean Skincare Perfect Canvas Silicone Free Skin Finishing Serum wasn’t a daily choice, mostly because I don’t wear my foundation every day anymore. However, it is such a champion in prolonging my makeup wear (even the BB creams) and preventing any cakeyness I might get from my dry skin patches. I love that it contains no silicone since I try to avoid that in skincare. And look at how aesthetically pleasing that bottle looks, a real gem for a skincare shelf!

REN Instant Firming Beauty Shot is called a natural botox in the bottle, which is actually not far from the truth. It is a strong anti-aging and skin-smoothing serum, possibly the strongest one I’ve ever tried. And probably too strong for my current skin needs. I’m in my thirties, and the fine lines I’ve got are not that deep yet, so it fills them fully. However, it also leaves the skin dry and flaky, so you have to apply it carefully and sparingly by gently patting the serum in. So, all in all, if you’re looking for a natural wrinkle filler, it is well worth a try. I might get one again in the future at some point.

Ayumi Naturals is one of my recent discoveries. Most of the skincare products that I’ve tried from their range are lovely as well as super affordable. Ayumi Naturals Intensive Facial Night Cream was probably my first introduction to the brand, and it quickly became one of my favorites to use. Later, my husband snatched it from me because he liked it a lot, too. It is a softening and hydrating face cream that will make most skin types happy.

Here you go, all of my recent empties. I hope you enjoyed the post and I’ll see you soon.
