Yes! After a long silence in that department, I come back with another empties compilation. I find empties posts to be my favorites to write and to read on other blogs. And yes, I still read blogs. Although, it seems the whole world has now moved to Youtube or social media. Anywayyy, here are the goodies that I’ve finished up in the past few months. As always, it’s mostly skincare, but there are a couple of organic makeup products mixed in the bunch:
– Pacifica Stellar Gaze Length & Strength Mascara in Supernova Black
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve actually repurchased this organic mascara. It’s hand down one of the best out there. From its easy-to-use wand to great longevity to results of beautiful lengthy lashes.
– Indie Lee Stem Cell Serum (review)
Despite my limited luck with some other Indie Lee skincare products, this Stem Cell Serum proved to be a true hero. With a silky, hydrating formula, it’s a treat for any skin type. But the ones with aging and tired skin will benefit the most.
– The Organic Pharmacy Hyaluronic Acid Serum (review)
With its unique triple molecular weight hyaluronic acid formula, this serum is on a mission to give your skin some intense hydration. I noticed it tended to break me out if I used it in the evenings, so I stuck with morning use and did not have any breakouts since – only plump and hydrated skin.
– Trilogy Hyaluronic Acid + Booster Treatment (review)
This teeny-tiny (12.5ml) bottle got me super excited when I received it. So many promises to hydrate and soften the skin in such a short time (2 weeks). Who would not want that? I did a whole review on this treatment, but to make it short: I did not notice changes in moisture levels that much since I still needed my daily routine of a hydrating moisturizer. Yes, there’s a big fat but coming.. BUT after a couple of weeks, I noticed my skin becoming much softer. The change was obvious after powder foundation, it went on smoothly, and no cakeyness was present.
– The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Revitalize & Glow Mini Set with the Antioxidant Face Serum and the Antioxidant Face Gel
These two very exciting mini skincare items came from the Naturisimo Spring Discovery Box. I didn’t think much of the face gel, but the serum seemed to offer my skin much needed additional hydration. Would I repurchase? Not really.
– Fitglow Beauty Good Lash+ Mascara
Marketed as a lift and curl mascara with good ingredients that enhance the look and promote lash growth. It does give some length to the lashes, but I don’t understand the hype around it. One of my main complaints is that the mascara wand is way too dense and bulky, so it keeps staining my lids no matter how carefully I try to apply. It could be that my eyes are too small or whatever. Another thing is that the formula is way too dry and cakey. I saw that this mascara was discontinued and that Fit Glow is releasing a new one with an updated brush, so maybe the new one will work better than this one.
– Jane Iredale LipDrink Lip Balm with SPF15 in Flirt
My most used lip product this spring and summer! Hydrating balm with non-sticky formula and cute dusty pink tint. Additionally, it has SPF protection, which is a perfect addition to the whole bouquet of pros.
Do you enjoy reading empties posts? Any of your favorite products mentioned here?
I too love reading actual blogs and empties posts are some of my favourites — I think they’re more truthful because they show what bloggers actually use, not just what they’re sent 🙂
Hi Annie, yes, and also opinions might differ when using the product for the first few times and after using it up completely!
