Argan oil is probably the most raved beauty oil of all times. It even has a title “liquid gold”, illustrating how amazing it is. Being praised for its moisturizing, protecting, healing, and skin softening benefits, this oil sounds like a real miracle. And it is lovely, indeed! Argan oil, in general, takes a solid third place amongst my other two favorite oils – coconut oil and rosehip oil. I’ve tried a few argan oil companies in the past, but today I want to review this The Moroccan Argan Company Co Pure Argan Oil* (50ml). It comes in a dark glass bottle with a spray. The oil is cruelty-free and certified by Ecocert.
The oil has a mild nutty scent. I use it as a treatment for my hair, and it gives a lot of nourishment and hydration as well as shine. Despite having dry skin, I am not a big fan to regularly use plain oils for my skin (rosehip is an exception), but it works wonderfully as a body oil.
Do you like using argan oil?
I love using rosehip oil as of recent! And black cumin, tamanu, and argan are all great options. My favorite argan oil is by Kahina Giving Beauty, it’s just the best quality I’ve found yet. When using oils, the trick is not to overdo it. Be sparing and I also like to give myself a facial massage. This leaves me feeling incredibly relaxed and helps to let the oil absorb beautifully into the skin.
Haven’t tried black cumin oil, what does it do?
I’ve found it to be very effective for any acne or irration of the skin. It also has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, antioxidant and adaptogenic properties. Black cumin seed oil was highly prized by the ancient Egyptians as a remedy for “everything but death”. And YÜLI, one of my favorite brands, utilizes this ingredient in quite a few of their products.
Argan oil is one of my favourite oil due to high level of vitamin E. I love using it in my home made face masks, creams and lip balms.
I love argan oil on my hair, but I would really like to try using it on my face. I did a post comparing marula oil to argan oil and argan oil won 🙂
