Me Encanta Holiday 2013 Collection By Kristen Arnett For Alima Pure

New makeup releases is always a joy, so I’m happy to share about the newest collaboration, which resulted in the new collection! Kristen Arnett, a professional sustainable makeup artist and founder of Green Beauty Team, collaborated with a natural mineral makeup brand Alima Pure to create this new gorgeous Me Encanta Holiday 2013 Collection.

Me Encanta (can be translated “it sings to me”) is a highly feminine collection, inspired by flamenco. It was created for “multi-faceted woman who chooses to appear demure and delicate, or strong and powerful… or all of it simultaneously.” Sounds pretty amazing, right?

This collection includes:
Flamenco Limited Edition Eyeshadow – shimmery navy blue eyeshadow, which is perfect as a dramatic all-over eyeshadow or a more subtle eyeliner. Can be used wet or dry;
Sombra Contour Powder – natural bronzing color for cheekbones;
Pink Satin Matte Blush – soft neutral pink that provides a natural flush for the cheeks and make you look like you’ve been dancing all night;
Baila Lip Tint – gorgeous rose tint to liven up the face without overpowering the dramatic eyes and cheeks;
Black Natural Definition Mascara – buildable color to add natural length and volume to the lashes.

Below are some swatches of Me Encanta Collection. I absolutely love the way all colors go together creating a beautiful ensemble. I also like the fact that all of them come in a neutral tone and are versatile. Sombra Contour Powder, despite its soft look, is nicely pigmented and does its job beautifully. I find that it’s especially suitable for those with fair or lighter skin tones. Flamenco LE Eyeshadow seems like a handy, powerful tool to bring some drama to your look. Pink Satin Matte Blush is my personal favorite – neutral soft pink for that subtle English Rose look.

Last, but not least – Baila Lip Tint. At first, I thought this was a lipstick because it’s so well pigmented. However, once it’s applied on the lips, it feels like a balm – very hydrating and soothing. The color is quite intense, but not too dramatic to wear it every day.
