If there’s one thing that never fails to pique my curiosity, it’s subscription beauty boxes. There are many different opinions if you should or shouldn’t subscribe to one, but I feel excited as heck when it pops up into my mailbox. So that’s why I’m back with another LoveLula Beauty Box review, and this one is the March Beauty Box*, filled with skin care and body care items. There are some seriously lovely products, so read along:
PHB Brightening Hand Cream (50ml, full-size, vegan)
Hand creams aren’t my favorite products to review because, usually, they aren’t that remarkable, but this organic Brightening Hand Cream from PHB deserves all the attention it can get. I don’t think there would be anyone who would not like this highly nourishing hand cream, which leaves hands instantly softer and brighter (have to admit, I did not expect that). It has neroli and ylang-ylang scent, which is powerful and uplifting.
Hurraw! Papaya Pineapple Lip Balm (15g full-size, vegan)
If you haven’t tried Hurraw! Lip Balms before, it’s time you consider adding them to your beauty stash. I’m saying “them” because it’s impossible to have one, they are just too good. Despite its attractive packaging, this lip balm also contains only vegan, raw, and organic ingredients and has a mouth-watering pineapple scent. It feels creamy and gives a juicy, shiny finish.
Kimberly Sayer Ultra Light Facial Moisturizer (1.5ml, sample, vegan)
This daily moisturizer formulated for combination, oily, and blemish prone skin is a top product of Kimberly Sayer range. I haven’t tried it yet, but it receives so much love from other bloggers, so I’m tempted to give it a go. The moisturizer claims to be lightweight, but moisturizing. Also, it promises not to clog pores and protect the skin from UV rays (it has SPF30), which is especially handy now with the summer approaching.
Seascape Island Apothecary Unwind Body Wash (300ml, full-size)
This shower gel right here is a novelty to me. I have never heard of this brand before, so that’s exactly why I love subscription boxes so much – you get to discover brands that you probably wouldn’t have discovered on your own. Apparently, Seascape Island Apothecary is the British beauty brand, which creates hair and body products with ingredients sourced from the Channel Islands. I searched for more of its products on LoveLula and what can I say, the packaging is simply beautiful! The Unwind Body Wash is a soft and relaxing blend of lavender and ylang-ylang. It feels like you’re in a spa or something. The body wash does contain a few ingredients that I don’t like, though.
Laidbare For Richer For Porer Pore Minimiser Facial Masque (50ml, full-size)
I have yet to try this Pore Minimiser mask, but I have a positive experience with the Laidbare serum, so I imagine that my skin will like this product as well. It’s a deep cleansing and detoxifying natural face mask for combination and oily skin types with kaolin clay, orange peel oil, and Japanese seaweed extract.
Four out of five products are full-size, can you believe that? The total value is $50/£40! I’m highly impressed with this month’s box, and if you want to receive yours, you can sign up for the next month’s box for £12.50 per month for the UK subscribers and $65/£52.50 every 3 months for international subscribers.
