We’ve been having the loveliest Fall season this year where I live, with most days warm and sunny. I love Autumn and all the cozy things it brings, but most significantly – the colors (OK, candles, and pumpkin spice lattes being a close second). So I was so excited to see that LoveLula’s September Beauty Box* had such a strong Autumn vibe going! And a great selection of products, too. I’d even dare to say it’s one of my top boxes from LoveLula. Here’s what’s inside:
– Ere Perez Cacao Butter Lip Colour (full size)
– Ayumi Sandalwood & Cocoa Butter Face Cream (full size)
– Madara Total Renewal Night Cream (generous sample size)
– GlossWorks Cuticle Balm (full size)
As you can see, all but one product are full-sized items! Also, it’s a lovely mixed selection of skincare, makeup, and nail care.
Of course I wanted to do a close-up shot of this Ere Perez Cacao Butter Lip Colour lipstick for you. Ere Perez packaging is my favorite kind, with its minimalist white aesthetics. The shade I received in a beauty box is Sway, a neutral nude rose shade that is absolutely lovely and versatile for everyday wear. The texture is soft and buttery, which makes it easy to apply. It is exactly what you could expect from a nourishing everyday lippie. So in love.
I don’t really use a hand cream that often (though I know I should), but what I like is a good cuticle balm (though I should use that more often either). I’ve already tried GlossWorks Cuticle Oil in the past, and enjoyed it a lot, so I was thrilled to have this GlossWorks Cuticle Balm added to my small collection of hands & nails care. The first thing that comes to my attention is its uplifting scent! The balm smells like a lemon pie, which to me screams – Autumn! So, LoveLula did a great job in keeping the box theme sooo consistent! Speaking about the texture, it’s rich and nourishing, as expected from such a product.
Ayumi Naturals Sandalwood & Cocoa Butter Face Cream: LoveLula is spoiling us again with another Ayumi Natural skincare item. I noticed this brand is popular in the beauty box, and I have absolutely no complaints. None! Most of the products I’ve tried from Ayumi are effective. Very affordable too, so what’s not to like here. I have yet to open this face cream, but since I have two face creams currently in use, I’ll wait until I finish one of them and report on my experience with this baby.
Madara Total Renewal Night Cream is the only sample-sized item in the box. Though I would not call it a sample, really since its size is 20ml. I’ve tried this cream in the past and found it very nourishing and perfect for the colder season. It also promises to participate in a more rapid collagen rebuilt and skin cell renewal processes (meaning, it has an anti-aging effect).
Overall, the September Beauty Box has exceeded my all expectations with its nourishing (hello, the cocoa butter in almost all products) and aesthetically pleasing products. Check out more info about the box here.
