LoveLula Natural Beauty Box | June 2021

After an epic fail with my post office, which resulted in LoveLula’s December Beauty Box delivery in May, I was so happy to find out that the latest box reached me in time. The June 2021 Beauty Subscription Box*, as always, is filled with fantastic 4 full-size beauty items (plus one sample) from only high-quality beauty brands. Here’s what you’ll find inside:

The Castilian Soap Company Natural Castile Soap (250ml for $11-£8). This one is with peppermint essential oil, but there are a few other options to choose from if you’re not into minty scents. I’ve tried a few Castile soaps from this company, and they all seem to be high-quality. What I like the most about Castile soaps is that they are so versatile. You can use them as hand wash, body wash, or even as a shampoo. Just be careful not to get it into your eyes, because oh boy, does it sting.

Balm Balm Fragrance Free Face Balm (30 ml for $13-£9.50) is called face balm, when in fact, it’s more of a multipurpose item. Yes, you can use it as a face balm for dry skin, but this small jar is a perfect on-the-go buddy for dry lips, hands, legs, cuticles, and whatnot.

In one of past Love Lula’s beauty boxes, I have received Ayumi’s Night Cream, which turned out to be such a lovely nourishing face cream. So, now I’m excited to try their Ayumi Bio-Active Fairness Daily Facial Day Cream (100ml for $12-£8.99). I can feel it in my heart that it will be as good as the night cream. Possibly, even better! But we’ll see.

Lamazuna Solid Shampoo (55ml for $12-£8.99) for normal hair was another item that got me very excited. I’ve tried a couple of solid shampoos in the past from different brands, but somehow I found them too drying for my hair or too messy to use. The scent of this shampoo sounds lovely: a warming blend of orange, cinnamon, and star anise. It would be a perfect autumn scent.

The last item in the box is the sample of Dr. Hauschka Soothing Day Lotion (1.5ml sample). I used to be a massive fan of Dr. Hauschka’s holistic skincare, but I noticed their day creams tended to dry out my already dry skin a bit. However, for old times’ sake, I can’t wait to use this lotion.
