To be honest, I was a bit hesitant about whether to write this post or not. But as a blog reader myself, I like similar posts on other blogs, so I thought I’ll share my recent empties too. It turned out I had plenty of nearly used-up products in my bathroom, and this post was also helping me to finish some of them instead of leaving sad, half-empty packages in the shadows of new products.
Starting from the top:
Logona Tropic Body Wash (discontinued)
A creamy and thick gel made with papaya, pineapple, and coconut milk. It’s a product for those who like nourishing shower gels with strong, super sweet scents. I wish there would be smaller bottles of this body wash available because I enjoy it, but after using it day after day, the smell gets too boring if you know what I mean. Maybe because it’s too sweet, I don’t know. However, sometimes I miss some sweetness in my life and then here I am getting another bottle of this body wash!
Lavera Apple Milk Shampoo (discontinued)
I guess we all have this one “safe” beauty product that never fails us. Lavera Apple Milk Shampoo is one of a few products that I keep repurchasing over and over because I know what to expect from it. It’s thick, smells totally like apples, and makes my hair shiny with a bit of volume. Just a simple shampoo, suitable for daily use.
Weleda Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash
this creamy, soft, and nourishing body wash is a pure delight for dry skin. It’s especially useful in winter and spring when skin needs extra comfort and moisture.
John Masters Organics Blood Orange And Vanilla Body Milk
It’s suitable for those who love vanilla scents! Though, I never did until I have discovered this body milk. The product comes in 236 ml bottle with a pump and, although the price is not that low for a body milk, it is worth it. John Masters Organic Body Milk is light and absorbs quickly into the skin, and at the same time softens and nourishes it well.
Dr. Hauschka Moisturizing Day Cream (100 ml)
Oh, I must say I have a solid relationship with this one! This is my infinity+1 bottle of the Moisturizing day cream, and I don’t think I’m going to stop repurchasing it anytime soon. It’s lightweight, but moisturizing enough, absorbs quickly and leaves skin soft, healthy without any greasiness. My only complaint is that it runs out too fast. I try using it frugally and save it up a little, but I feel like it just disappears in front of my eyes.
Neobio ginkgo and caffeine volume shampoo (discontinued)
There is news that Neobio has discontinued all of its hair products and introduced a new range. I haven’t had the chance to explore the new one yet, but it’s such a shame to hear about these old products gone. I liked almost all of them, especially this volume shampoo. I also have their Apricot Hair Mask, which is nice, too.
Sante Sun Lotion SPF15 (100 ml) (discontinued)
I bought this sun lotion just a few days before my holiday and didn’t have much time to try it before leaving for the scorching Caribbean sun. Well, I am very sorry to say that it has failed me. Despite being covered in a visible white greasy layer of cream that I kept constantly reapplying all over my body, I still got some slight, unwanted sunburns on my forehead and shoulders. I’m still in search for a sun cream or lotion, so please let me know if you know something good.
Aquabio Phyto Eye Gel (20 ml)(discontinued)
Although I really like Aquabio Facial Foam, the Eye Gel was a bit of a disappointment for me. I liked the scent very much (it has a similar candy-like scent), I liked the package, and the gel consistency was very nice too, but it has failed to absorb in my skin. Even after the thinnest layer of the gel, I felt like a patch of glue was applied under my eyes. Would I buy it again? Not really.
Have you tried any of these organic products?
