I’d never call myself a blush addict, but my makeup stash tells another story: I’ve counted eight this morning! The thing with blushes is that even though I use them almost every day, they last ages and, therefore, are hard to optimize. My favorite type of blush is cream blush. The cream blush obsession started with Delizioso Cream Blush a while ago, before that, I actually wouldn’t even look at cream blushes as they seemed too much work. Oh, how wrong I was!
I’m just going cut to the obvious – Kjaer Weis blushes are gorgeous. cool/neutral, all blushes come in modern, stylish silver flip cases with an inside mirror (handy!). It did surprise me that the cases are pretty heavy, but I like that they’re made not from plastic, but zamac, which means they’re incredibly long-lasting.
Kjaer Weis blush range has a variety of shades suitable for every skin tone and every occasion. The shade I have is called Happy and is described as exuberant, bright pink. Happy is also the most pigmented color out of all Kjaer Weis blushes. It’s the most beautiful cool/neutral pink blush that would look lovely on all skin tones. The consistency of this blush is creamy and moist, which makes it simple to apply and prevents streaking. The best thing about cream blushes is their easy application and texture that’s buildable. Because it’s so pigmented, a tiny amount of this blush goes a long way, so it’s important not to over-do. I use my fingers to apply and blend the blush in, this way it’s easier to control how much product you apply. You can also use a makeup sponge for additional blending. It blends in well and gives a semi-matte, satin finish that makes your cheeks look naturally flushed.
The blush is nourishing and doesn’t cling to dry patches. I always thought that because of their consistency cream blushers don’t last as long as, for example, powder blushers, but that’s not true. This Kjaer Weis blush lasts me good eight hours without fading. Though, it might be different with other colors, if they are less pigmented.
Kjaer Weis is definitely a luxury brand with luxury prices and it might not be easy to part with $56 for a blush. However, the brand offers luxury quality as well, so if you want to pamper yourself with a stunning new beauty product that works, I recommend it above and beyond. I also would like to mention the fact that all Kjaer Weis products are refillable, so if you don’t care much for packaging, you can just skip to Kjaer Weis product refills.
Kjaer Weis Happy Blush is available at Kjaer Weis and Naturisimo (with free worldwide delivery) and goes for $56/£41 for 3.5ml.
Have you tried Kjaer Weis blush? Which one is your favorite?
This packaging! I have never seen anything like it, it is so bright too xxx
Gorgeous, isn’t it? 🙂
this is a lovely color, but it might be too pink for me. lovely review though! I love most of the cream blushes from KW!
I’m definitely tempted to try more of their blushes and a highlighter (this one has been on my wishlist since forever).
I have an eyeshadow from this brand but I think I’ll also have to try a blush now!
If you like cream blushes, I think Kjaer Weis is a great choice.
Love Kjaer Weis, their formulation seems to become a part of your skin and wears so well all day. You are correct a little does go a long way, I learned that the hard way the first application. That was a fun day!! I have it in the Abundance shade but really love how Happy looks, have you seen the new shade Precious? It’s more peachy but I bet it’s a beautiful summer color.

That’s so nicely said! KW does feel like a part of your skin – no stickiness, no dryness, just perfect 🙂 I have seen Precious reviewed in a few blogs, that color is stunning for summer!
