Juice Beauty Phyto Pigments Flawless Serum Foundation

Juice Beauty Phyto Pigments Flawless Serum FoundationOf all the makeup products I use, take it occasionally, or on a daily basis, a foundation is one of my favorites. A good organic foundation is also hard to come by. That’s why I’m very excited to share about this new obsession of mine – Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Flawless Serum Foundation. Juice Beauty isn’t a new brand on my radar, I’ve tried its skincare a couple of times before. But I’ve never tried its makeup range. I’ve been eyeing the Serum Foundation for a while, and I’m delighted that I finally decided to get it.

Juice Beauty Phyto Pigments Serum Foundation BuffThe Flawless Serum Foundation contains a serum and a foundation in one sleek glass bottle. The foundation itself is pretty watery and tends to separate, so it’s important to shake it well before each use. Its runny consistency makes it easy to apply, but it also dries out pretty fast. This organic foundation feels pretty lightweight on the skin, even though it offers medium coverage. The coverage can be buildable, from medium to full, which is great. Though, personally, I’ve never applied more than one layer of this foundation. If you don’t have any major skin concerns, medium coverage is more than enough for daily use.

See the ingredients:

Aloe barbadensis (organic aloe juice/jus d’aloés bio)*, carthamnus tinctorius (organic safflower oil/huile de carthame bio)*, glycerin (organic/bio)*, coconut alkanes, potassium cetyl phosphate, sorbitan sesquioleate, gluconolactone†, cetearyl olivate†, silica, sorbitan olivate†, coco-caprylate/caprate†, sodium benzoate, decyl glucoside†, hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium bicarbonate, citrus medica limonum (lemon leaf cell extract/extrait de cellule des feuilles de citron), helianthus annuus (sunflower seed oil/huile de graines de tournesol), vitis vinifera (organic grape seed oil/huile de pépins de raisin bio)*, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (Vitamin C/vitamine C), tocopherol (Vitamin E/vitamine E), argania spinosa (argan shell powder/poudre d’argan), rosa gallica (rose flower powder/poudre de rose). May contain titanium dioxide, iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499). † plant-derived, * Certified organic. Vegan.

The foundation gives a luminous skin-like finish without looking patchy or dry on the skin. I find that applying a primer underneath gives even better results as it goes on smoother. Regarding longevity, it’s definitely a long-wear foundation. I can go almost all day without fixing it. This does not apply if you have oily skin because you might still need to set it with a powder.

Juice Beauty Phyto Pigments Flawless Serum Foundation BuffI find the shade range of this foundation impressive, with 11 different shades for each skin tone. Those with light skin tones will most likely find a match for themselves as well. The shade I picked is Buff, the second lightest shade for very light skin with yellow undertones. I was worried that it would be too light or too yellow, but it turned out to be a perfect match for my currently pale spring skin. I find it pretty neutral, so I’m pleased with this choice. Though my skin tends to tan quite easily, so I’m sure I’ll have to switch to a darker shade Cream in a couple of months.

Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Flawless Serum Foundation is available online at Juice Beauty or any of its stockists for approx $44 -£32 for 30ml. It is quite a splurge if you’d ask me, but it’s well worth it.

Have you tried this Serum Foundation?
