The phrase “puff blush” instantly puts an image of a 1920’s lady, in her vanity, holding a vintage fluffy powder puff, made from swan [or turkey] feathers, with her long sleek fingers. Well, INIKA Mineral Blusher Pot Puff maybe doesn’t look THAT glamorous, but it’s still a pretty cute thing.
I love mineral makeup, but I’ve always been shying away from it because of its loose form. It especially bothers me on the go; I was unfortunate enough to find its contents spilled all over my other makeup and skincare a couple of times. However, with this blush, there’s no need to worry about this. Or about a precise application since it applies very subtly. Just gently dab it on the cheeks, and you’re good to go. This tiny pot even has a mirror! My only complaint about the packaging is that the puff isn’t removable, so you can’t give it a proper clean.
The shade Rosy Glow is described as a neutral pink/mauve shade, but I’d say it definitely has some warmth to it. It looks gorgeous when applied, giving the cheeks a naturally flushed look with a soft metallic finish. The longevity is great; the blush lasts all day.
INIKA Mineral Blusher Pot Puff can be found here for $35; the UK here for £23.
