When it comes to BB, CC, and other double-letter creams, I always find intriguing to see what they would bring to my skin. I’ve used a few organic BB creams; however, I’ve never tried a DD (stands for Daily Defense) cream, which claims to care for the skin, to protect it, and to offer some coverage on a daily basis. Green People DD Tinted Moisturizer SPF15* fulfills these three tasks by smoothing, correcting, hydrating, and protecting the skin with natural mineral filters, organic oils, and hyaluronic acid.
This DD Cream comes in a simple white bottle with a pump dispenser. Only a pea size drop of this product is needed to cover the whole face, so this 30 ml bottle will last a long time. I love its texture, which is creamy, but not too thick, and, therefore, very easy to blend into the skin. It offers a nice and even coverage, leaves skin feeling hydrated and dewy – perfect for simple, everyday look for spring or summer. The DD Cream is created to make your skin look natural and almost makeup-free, so it won’t hide any major imperfections (this can easily be fixed by applying some concealer), but I still find it providing more coverage than most tinted moisturizer I’ve tried in the past. It says to be suitable for all skin types, but if you have oily skin, I recommend you to use a setting powder to prolong the wear.
Green People DD Tinted Moisturizer is available in three colors: Ivory (porcelain skin tones), Light (fair skin tones) and Medium (medium to dark skin tones). I have the color Light, but because my skin is very fair at the moment, it’s still a bit too dark so Ivory would be a better match. Though, I think Light will be perfect for my skin tone in summer.
If you’re unsure about which color you should opt for, there are samples available. Green People DD Tinted Moisturizer is available at Naturisimo, Green People for $44/£36 for 30ml.
Have you tried this Green People DD Cream?

Thank you, Angie! I’m with you on this – tinted moisturizers is a real joy to use 🙂
Oh, thanks for sharing! I’ve had my eye on this product for a couple of weeks, so it was good to read your review.x
You’re welcome, Ashley! Thanks for reading! Did you have a chance to try it yet?
I really love this, I used to be faithful to REN’s BB cream but the ingredients in this blow REN out of the water, like you though I do wish there was a lighter colour, I have had to crack open the fake tan early so I can carry on using it 🙂 Xx
I really liked your review 🙂 I agree that it’s hard to find any downsides for this tinted moisturizer, except maybe it would be nice to have more colors to choose from.
I’ve been eyeing this product for summer, and your review has cemented its place on my wishlist. I love how nourishing the ingredients are while providing coverage, which is often where I’m left dissapointed with a few tinted moisturizers (gives a dewy glow, but doesn’t really even out the skin tone and help soften the appearance of pores + reduce redness a bit).
I know what you mean pretty well 🙂 It does make redness on my cheeks less visible.
Uuu and the light shade looks even light enough that it’d match my skin! Good to know, thanks for sharing 🙂 xx
Thank you, Jana! I like that the light color is also neutral enough to suit most skin tones.
I’ve not heard of this brand, Very interested to try out this tinted moisturizer. The light shade looks like it would actually match me!

Hope you’ll have a chance to try it, it’s lovely!
I’ve been loving this! Such a lovely glow 🙂
Really lovely review! I have used green people before but not this line. Thanks for a wonderful in depth review x
I like the fact that this tinted moisturizer comes in a pump for hygiene reasons but that also makes it hard to see how much there’s left and I hate that!
