New Ere Perez Chamomile Eyeshadow palettes caused a massive stir in the green beauty community, and I can easily see why. The brand has recently updated its packaging to an even more sleek and minimalistic. But it’s not the packaging that makes these palettes so beloved, it’s the colors. There are 4 palettes in Chamomile Eyeshadow range: Lovely, Gorgeous, Pretty, and Beautiful. While the names are pretty cheesy, the colors of these palettes are all stunning. They are neutral and earthy, which makes them perfect for both day and evening wear.
The price of the palettes is AUD$40, which is approx $30 (USD). I agree, it’s not the most budget-friendly option but if you think about it, how long does one eyeshadow palette last? For me, it lasts ages, so $30 for a natural, good quality eyeshadow palette doesn’t seem like such a huge price tag. The Chamomile palettes were named that because they contain soothing chamomile oil as one of the ingredients.
The palettes have 6 solo shades that can be repurchased as single refills once used up! The Gorgeous palette that I have has a pretty range of earthy browns. The first three shades are matte shades, and the last three are shimmery ones. All shades compliment each other, so it’s easy to create any look by mixing and matching them. With a palette like this, it’s impossible to mess up, so it’s great for beginners or just for everyone who enjoys subtle, earthy-toned makeup.
Speaking about the texture, it’s slightly soft, so when using the product, it’s important to gently tap instead of “really going in there” with a brush. But because it’s so soft, it blends out really well without leaving harsh streaks. The longevity is good. I have somewhat oily eyelids (weird, I know!), so a primer is a must for me anyway.
What do you think about this Gorgeous palette? Do you like the colors?
I believe that this is a company that started off with Mia Mac ( https://miamac.com/ ) and took off after a little. They sure know how to do their branding!
