I’m constantly in search for a good foundation, and Dr. Hauschka Translucent Makeup Liquid Foundation has been on my “must try” list for a long time. Dr. Hauschka isn’t a new brand to me, I’ve tried many skincare products from its range.
The tube of Dr. Hauschka Transluscent Liquid Foundation holds 30 ml of a product. The foundation has a creamy consistency and can be easily applied with fingers or a kabuki brush. I could feel a little bit of stickiness on my face right after application, but it sets in a couple of minutes. Dr. Hauschka Translucent Liquid Foundation comes in 5 shades, ranging from very fair complexions to medium to dark:
00 Porcelain – for very fair/pale complexions (neutral undertones);
01 Pale Sand – for fair complexions (neutral);
02 Beige Rose – for fair to medium complexions (rosy undertones);
03 Suntan – for medium to dark complexions (neutral);
04 Mocca – for dark complexions.
The word “translucent” describes this foundation accurately. I’d say it’s more like a tinted moisturizer than a foundation. It gives the skin that fresh glow, evens out the skin tone, but the coverage is pretty light since it doesn’t hide any redness for me. The skin feels comfortable with this foundation, no dryness or cakey-ness. It contains carrot root and marshmallow extracts (soothing and balancing) along with macadamia nut and avocado oils (nourishing and protecting). The tagline declares the foundation is suitable for all skin types and I would agree with the statement.
Have you tried this Liquid Foundation?
This looks like a great foundation! I’m actually looking for a tinted moisturizer for summer so this might be a good one to consider.
It’s a lovely product, if you’re not looking for much coverage.
I love Dr Hauschka! Shame about the lack of coverage with this one xxx
I could not agree more, Livvy! x
Good to know! I haven’t tried this one yet, but a lighter foundation is nice for the summer- I still have yet to find my “holy grail” – it’s usually a mix of products. Most of us have red spots or old acne scars or acne or broken capillaries here and there so it’s hard to find that one foundation that can handle all that without weighing you down. I have been using Josie Maran’s tinted moisturizer and then just dabbing concealer on the spots I need more coverage!
It’s quite rich in consistency, so it wouldn’t be my choice for very hot days. But other than that, it does a great job giving the skin that “your skin, but better” look. I really like your idea about using concealer for lighter coverage foundations!
I really love this foundation!! I just receive yesterday my 2nd tube. I have the color 00 (great choice for winter) but now i mix it with Dr. Hauschka translucent bronze concentrate. This 2 products is really amazing. The translucent bronze is just perfect (not orange). It gives a glowing result 🙂
Nice to hear that this foundation works for you, Julie!
I’ve been eying Dr. Hauschka bronze concentrate for a while now, the promise of a glowing skin sounds very tempting 🙂
This really does sound amazing and perfect for summer, I will definitely be on the lookout as I’ve just run out of my foundation 🙂 x
Agreed, “my skin, but better” is definitely the look for summer! 🙂
This is my current not-quite-HG-but-always-restock foundation. The 00 shade is a great match for my skin tone but I wish it had SPF! x
Hi does anyone know what website sells dr. hauschka translucent foundation?
