After finishing my Aquabio Phyto Eye Gel, I was in search for a replacement. There was a battle between Dr. Hauschka Eye Cream and Madara Contour Eye Cream when suddenly Lavera Cooling Eye Roll On caught my attention. I was a bit uncertain about it being a gel (didn’t want one after Aquabio and John Masters Organics eye gels), but the roll-on idea won me over. The other product I bought along with Lavera was Sante Hypnotic Lashes Growth Liquid. I was lured by their promises to have “longer and thicker eyelashes for a mesmerizing look after only four weeks.” Now, who on Earth would not want that??
After using Lavera Eye Roll-On for a couple of days, I must say I am impressed. The roll-on technology is great – there’s no need to touch, rub or tap your under eye area with fingers anymore. Also, the eye gel is not thick at all, but more like a light, watery liquid. It has a cooling sensation, which is pleasant and is quickly absorbed by the skin. The scent somehow reminds me of anise, but I’m sure there’s no anise in the ingredient list, so it has to be something else. This Eye Roll-On is loaded with white tea, which has less caffeine than green tea but is better at hydrating the tender under eye area and encouraging longer moisture retention. Includes CQ10, Karanja oil (which has similar benefits to neem oil), and hyaluronic acid – all well-known for soothing and moisturizing abilities.
Sante Hypnotic Lashes Growth Liquid looks exactly like a liquid eyeliner. You are also supposed to use it as an eyeliner by applying it once (or twice) a day on clean eyelids at the base of the lashes as close as you can. The growth liquid is clear and gel-like with a nice sweet scent. The label says that you have to use the growth liquid for at least 4 weeks to see the results, so I am starting an experiment (even took some photos of my eyelashes for future comparison) and we’ll see if any results will be visible after a few weeks.
