I think it’s already obvious that I’m a devotee of Desert Essence, especially, its Red Raspberry Shampoo. This shampoo created for shine enhancement is one of my favorites, I have already written a short review about it in What’s In My Bathroom post and few other posts. My opinion hasn’t changed, I still repurchase and enjoy using it.
Desert Essence Organics Lemon Tea Tree Shampoo is new to me. It’s a clarifying shampoo for oily hair, and since my scalp can get oily rather quick, I thought it would be a good match for my hair. I like the packaging, it’s a 237ml bright and vivid tube that’s perfect for a product with citrus. The scent is also citrus-related. I don’t use clarifying shampoos on a daily basis because I fear they would dry out my hair ends, but this shampoo does not feel drying at all. When trying out a new shampoo, I sometimes like to use it without a conditioner for a few times just to see how my hair would react. As suspected, a conditioner is a must with the Lemon Tea Tree shampoo.
Have you tried Dessert Essence shampoos? Which one’s your favorite?
I recently was in need of a clarifying shampoo and purchased Desert Essence Organics Lemon Tea Tree Shampoo. It worked really well! I like the smell of Lemon Tea Tree better than regular Tea Tree oil.
I had the coconut duo and I loved them, then I “moved on” to Acure line but I think it’s time to try the Red Raspberry shampoo next! 🙂 xx
I hear so many good things about Desert Essences but have yet to try them, the Red Raspberry line sounds great 🙂
I have never heard of Desert Essence before but these shampoos sound amazing, really want to give them a try and they are such a good price too
