Organic Beauty Empties | May 2020

Organic Beauty Blogger Empties-4My last organic beauty empties post was published three months ago, and it featured only makeup products. Well, this one features skincare only! The reason for that is simple – I don’t have that many makeup products, and the ones I have are not even close to empties. Anyway, let’s see what has been used up this time:

Madara Deep Moisture Gel for oily skin: this one was actually finished by my husband, but I thought I’ll add it because he said he really liked it. Hubby has oily skin prone to break-outs, but his skin also gets dehydrated from time to time. He doesn’t like sticky, heavy creams (well, who does?), so this gel was probably one of the few that he did not complain about while using it. He said it smelled nice, no sticky residue, and was excellent at reducing skin tightness.

Poethique Radiance Boosting Serum has the sweetest, most divine scent and bewitching, jelly-like texture. The serum holds up his promises as a radiance-boosting serum and provides the skin a decent amount of glow, softness, and plumpiness.

Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil is, I believe, one of Indie Lee’s top skincare items, and rightly so. Called “the oilless oil,” this facial oil is known for softening the skin, reducing dryness, while not loading your face with thick film and clogging pores like some other oils do. It’s odorless and feels really good on the skin. All skin types will love it.

Antipodes Hosanna Skin Plumping Serum: a lovely serum that is wonderful at firming and tightening the skin.

Province Apothecary Full Brow Serum is the way to go if you have sparse eyebrows. This castor-oil based serum doesn’t promise magic (if your genetics says you’re not the bushy brow type, then you just aren’t), but it does make a noticeable difference. However, for it to work, it’s essential to be very consistent when using it. The Full Brow Serum is thick, and it tends to become runny when it has contact with warm skin, so it’s better to use it sparingly. Also, because castor oil is pretty heavy oil, I wouldn’t use it right before bed. Otherwise, you’re risking to wake up with puffy eyes.

Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Mask: I had high hopes for this mask, but it turned out to be my least favorite mask, compared to all the other TH’s masks. It’s VERY heavy and thick, to the point my skin doesn’t even feel comfortable. However, since it’s a mask, so you don’t have to stay with it on your face for long, but those 15 minutes were kind of uncomfortable. Speaking about the results, I did notice that it made my skin soft, but I just hoped for a more significant difference.

So, here you go. I hoped you liked the review! What have you finished up recently?
