For as long as I can remember, I’ve been jumping from one mascara to another in hopes to find THE ONE. Having clean ingredients is important, but it’s not enough – a mascara also needs to give good results, such as volume, length, and lash separation. Many of the mascaras that I’ve tried were good, some even great, but most of them just didn’t meet the requirements fully. Until I found out about Inika Bold Lash mascara, and now I can confidently say – this one is a game-changer.
Speaking about the packaging of this mascara, there’s nothing too adventurous about it. It’s an elegant black matte mascara tube with a golden logo. What I really like is its wand. It’s a medium-sized wand with rather short, dense bristles. The size of the wand makes it easy to apply the product, and let’s avoid any eyelid stains. The texture of the mascara is neither too thick, not too runny. It does get thicker after a while (like all mascaras do), but even then, I can easily apply it without getting it all over the eyes.
The wear of this mascara is fantastic. It’s not waterproof, so try to avoid watching any sad movies if you can while wearing it. It also starts to crumble a bit towards the end of the day, but it’s easy to wipe off with a few swipes with a tissue or just your fingers.
The formula is vegan with 100% naturally derived ingredients. It contains certified organic Magnolia Bark, Vitamin E, and Sunflower Oil that protect and nourish the lashes.
Here’s the before and after to give you an idea of how the mascara looks on my lashes. I always go for 2 or 3 coats, plus I did not use an eyelash curler (the effect is even better when I do). As you can see, it gives my lashes a bit of volume and lots of length. Also, you can see how well it curls and separates them. I like the intensity of the color, which makes the whole look even more bold and dramatic.
The Bold Lash Mascara retails for $35/£27 for 12ml. You can find it at the official INIKa website here or at any other stockist.
