Herbivore True Blue Skin Clarifying Duo

herbivore true blue skincare kitIf there’s one thing that I could ramble for days, it’s natural skincare. Luckily, I became wiser and outgrew the obsessive need to try as much of natural skincare products as I can. Now I just try to focus on quality. It doesn’t necessarily mean I choose expensive products, but sometimes I slip, and some luxury brand that I long coveted ends up in my beauty stash. This happened with Herbivore. I lusted its skincare for so long. Not only because Herbivore has these beautiful minimalistic jars, but because of the great precisely crafted ingredients. Herbivore is a definition of quality, and this is what this brand is known and loved for.

Herbivore Organic SkincareIf you’re familiar with Herbivore, then you know that its skincare is very expensive. It’s definitely one of the most luxurious brands in the green beauty industry. I’m not saying that it’s wrong, taking into consideration the ingredients they contain and everything else, I can (almost) justify their price. Yet, it’s always hard to pay this amount of money without actually trialing the products. So I opted for another mini duo (I’ve tried their Hydrate + Glow Mini Collection a while ago) – Mini Skin Clarifying Duo, which contains two of Herbivore products: Resurfacing Mask and, one of the bestsellers, Lapis Balancing Face Oil.

Herbivore Lapis Balancing Oil

I was very excited to try this product since it’s one of Herbivore’s best-sellers. It’s a very light oil, which my skin drinks up pretty quickly. Lapis Oil focuses on oily, blemished skin by soothing, hydrating, and making it comfortable. I think that all Herbivore oils are absolutely amazing, and this one is no exception. Highly recommended.

However, if you want a more affordable skin oil containing blue tansy, take a look at Pacifica Face Oil.

Herbivore Blue Tansy Resurfacing Mask

Face masks are a wonderful thing. There’s nothing more relaxing than to end a long day with a lovely nicely-scented mask that gives your skin a lovely glow. This Resurfacing Mask is exactly that. Its texture is gel-like, a bit watery, but still easy to spread on the skin. It has some slight cooling effect to it, but nothing even a sensitive skin can’t handle. I wouldn’t keep it longer than it’s recommended (5-10 minutes is plenty). After rinsing the mask off, my skin feels divine! So soft to touch and dewy.

You can get Herbivore True Blue Mini Skin Clarifying Duo at herbivore for $24.

Have you tried any of these goodies from Herbivore? What are your faves from this brand?

I love Herbivore! Very tempted by this set – I’ve tried a sample of the Lapis oil, but I’d love to check the mask out too. The jade roller is my favourite, it makes applying face oil feel really luxurious xx
