Ere Perez has created quite a stir in the green beauty community. It’s always exciting when a new, unheard brand shows up with its lovely packaging, natural ingredient lists, and great promises. Though if you live in Australia, you might have heard about Ere Perez before we did. Ere Perez is an Australian brand, though, its products are crafted in Mexico. The whole natural makeup collection is full of beauty products such as liquid foundation, highlighters, blushes, mascaras, eyeshadows, and lipsticks. There’s also a range of vegan makeup brushes. Most of Ere Perez products are vegan; however, a few (including its lippies and mascaras) contain beeswax. None of the products contain carmine.
Versatile Vanilla Highlighter in Falling Star* $24/£19 for 11g.
This gently scented cream highlighter comes in two shades: Falling star, cool rose gold suitable for pale and light skin tones with cool/neutral undertones, and Sun Halo, warm golden color suitable for olive and medium to dark skin tones with warm undertones. The texture of this highlighter is soft and moisturizing. I mostly use the Falling Star (and other highlighters) on my cheekbones (alone or over a blush), above my cupid’s bow, and on the tip of my chin. Because it’s so soft, I like to apply it with my fingers or a makeup sponge and then blend in with a round top brush. I’m impressed by how easy you can achieve a beautiful and radiant look with this highlighter, and it is one of my favorite makeup products I’m using at the moment.
Pure Rice Powder Blush in My Blush* $28/£22.50 for 15g
Ere Perez Pure Rice Powder duo blushes come in three shades: Bondi Blush (coral and peach pink), Rose Tones (pink and terracotta), and My Blush (universal soft tan). I’m not going to lie, when I opened it for the first time, I thought that My Blush was actually a bronzer. That’s because this duo blush has two tan shades, which look way more intense in the packaging than on application.
They do look a bit orange in a swatch photo, but in reality, they are more earthy browns, however, both warm-toned. The blush is not very pigmented and even though my skin is pale it looks light and natural even after a few applications. Because it’s so light and easy to blend, it can be used for contouring or even for the whole face to give it some light tan. Though, it would be more suitable for warmer skin tones.
Natural Almond Oil Mascara in Black* $23/£18.50 for 10ml
There are four mascaras in Ere Perez makeup range, but this one is the first mascara launched by Ere Perez. It’s described as a beautiful black mascara, to give length, structure, and flexibility to your lashes. You can see from the photo below that my lashes need all they can get from a mascara (OK, some length and curl would be perfect)! The Natural Almond Oil mascara gives that length and quite a lot of it. However, it also feels like it weighs down my lashes and even using a lash curler before application doesn’t help much. Other than that, I really like how it performs. I also like the dryer than usual mascara consistency, which isn’t messy at all, so it helps with smooth application and prevents clumping. I enjoy using this mascara, and it’s better and gives a more dramatic finish than many natural mascaras I’ve tried in the past. I hear that Ere Perez Volumising Waterproof Mascara is pretty great too, so maybe I should give this one a try as well.

That foundation looks very tempting! Though, I read that it’s more suitable for combination/oily skin types and since my skin is dry, I’m a bit hesitant.
We are reviewing this brand at the moment and are really enjoying the products. I find the white packaging very sleek and refreshing too!
Whaaaat. That mascara is life.
